Rockstar Builders provided an extensive remodel on our home which entailed a complete renovation of the kitchen and bathrooms, new flooring (which was both hardwood and travertine), painting home interior with baseboards, etc.they also hung lights, mirrors and moved walls.

We just finished using Rockstar Builders for the second time and are very happy with the results.

My wife and I recently used Rockstar Builders for a multi-room remodel on Mt Helix. There were a lot of moving parts and multiple specialties required. Jeff and his team were a well-oiled machine and they were clearly well organized. We had multiple unforeseen changes throughout our project and Jeff worked through those concerns in a professional manner. We are super pleased with the end result and appreciate all of the efforts that got us to the finish line. Thanks Rockstar!

After our backyard fence collapsed, we needed to have someone build a more sturdy, concrete wall. Although I contacted a number of contracters, most of them either could not be bothered to return phone calls or else visited and said that they would send a quote, but never did.
The one exception was Rockstar Builders. Jeff and his team came in at budget, and gave us exactly what we wanted on time. I expect the wall to last a long time, and give Rockstar a big thumbs up!

I'm originally from Chicago and have done 3 large remodel jobs and they are never without problems or delays. So when I started my remodel in San Diego, I was expecting the worst.
I met with Jeff and Jimbo as well as two other builders. I didn't choose Rockstar because they seemed to good to be true, price wise and everything they claimed they could do.
Turns out my first choice fell through because they didn't want to provide me with Lien releases. So I decided to give Rockstar a try. I gotta say I was very happy with their work and how they got the job done on time. In addition, all their promises were not empty words and they delivered on everything. We added things along the way too and the finish date was still close to what was promised.
At any rate, they did a great job and we had a lot of work done- complete kitchen, both bathrooms as well as other jobs throughout the house. I was also surprised at many of the decorative suggestions made by the owner Jeff. Nine times out of 10 he was right. The other times my wife was :-)
What impressed me most was how they stand by their work. Most contractors are gone once the job is over and good luck getting something fixed if it goes wrong, because things always go wrong. What separate's a good contractor from a great one is how they handle mistakes.
Rockstar made some mistakes but they didn't argue or try to make excuses. They corrected it and moved on and didn't find a way to make us pay. For instance, we had a small leak (emphasize small) under two different sinks on two different occasion's- AFTER the job was done. Not only did Jeff return my call, they were back at my house within a 1/2 hour to fix it. Good luck finding that anywhere else.
They also didn't "nickel and dime" us on small changes or small fixes that came up along the way during our job.
If you are having trouble deciding on who to choose as your general contractor, I would definitely recommend Rockstar to anyone!

Jeff and his team are really on top of things! We did our kitchen/great room with Rockstar and it looks amazing. His work was on time, done well, and always did what we wanted. He also had great input on the design side. His custom cabinet guy and hit tile team are the best in business. We called him back to do our backsplash a year after the original remodel because we had trouble picking our tile. Jeff had it done within the week and it looks amazing. Jeff and his team are very friendly and professional and I would recommend him to any of my friends and family.

The question is... would I hire Rockstar Builders again....the answer is yes.
Jeff and his crew were punctual, on budget and handled our occasional revisions surprisingly well. I believe he strived to provide my husband and I the home we envisioned.
