My wife hired two different contractors to remodel one of her commercial Facilities in 2017. Both contractors required large down payments to begin the project, but they never did any work. My son, a journeyman electrician, and I worked after our day jobs to complete the remodel ourselves. The entire remodel included redesigning the floor plan, demoing the property, framing out walls, electrical work, taping, floating, texturing and painting the walls.
We also stained all the floors and installed new lighting fixtures and security cameras. Although we were so excited about my wife's reaction to the finished product, we were still disappointed that others in our industry were taking advantage of customers everyday. At this point, we decided to open Texas Pro Remodeling to continue providing our remodeling services to other people who are looking for honest contractors to provide quality work.
