Cooper Pools is a licensed and insured professional commercial and residential pool company. They specialize in remodeling and pool maintenance in the Tampa Bay area. It's roots began as a family run business by its Founder and Principal, Michael Cooper in 2009. It has enjoyed the success of a local business servicing clients in Pasco and Hillsborough Counties.

Its emphasis on its commercial operations include remodeling, cleaning, resurfacing, and repairs. The residential business addresses remodeling and repair services. To provide more services, we extend outside of those Tampa Bay areas for commercial accounts to include: Carrollwood and Temple Terrace. All types of pools, whether they be chlorine or saltwater systems, can be worked.

With an increased staff of skilled technicians and trained personnel, Cooper Pools is afforded the opportunity of expansion and flexibility. Having started as a custom family operation, Cooper Pools has never lost touch with the importance of customer service and satisfaction.

Swimming pools are meant to be good looking like an oasis where the water is a place you want to be.
However what happens when there are unsightly imperfections, cracks, and tiles that are missing?
How do these imperfections actually impact the performance of a pool?
Does it matter?
Stains and calcium deposits are often found in swimming pools.
In order to remove these, hydrochloric acid and water are used when mixed together.
The acid wash itself is solely for the stains as opposed to "etching" which takes down part of the plaster surface when repainting or replastering.
Ideally, you should run your pump for 24 hours a day, but we know that's unrealistic (and pricey), so let's look for an answer that keeps your pool clean and your wallet full.
Generally running your pool pump for 12-hours a day is a good option.
For a residential pool the water should turn over at least once per day.
Covering a heated swimming pool at night will reduce heat loss.
For a swimming pool that relies on the sun for heat, covering it at night can still make it warm enough to swim in the next day, instead of losing all the heat overnight when the temperatures drop.

More than you think and more costly that few are willing to pay.
But a pool depends on its impervious nature of sealed surfaces from water penetrating beneath an area.
Once leaked, water can cause mold and bacteria that can live in crevices that can impact the health and well being of those who are swimming and touching the water and its surrounding surfaces.
The state of Florida requires a license to build or repair pools.
This validates that the technician possesses the prerequisite education, experience, and insurance qualifications with a successful competency fulfillment.
This licensing process also screens for criminal history and shows any disciplinary actions or license revocations that may exist.
Cooper Pools license, CPC1459240 provides a safeguard to its clients that they are protected from damages, injuries, and liabilities caused by its workers in the course of conducting their services.
