Since 1984, Hayes Construction has been building houses in Tucson and its surrounding areas.

Tom Hayes, president and owner, earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University.
He has worked in the construction business nearly all of his life.
Working his way up from a laborer, to framer, to superintendent, to general contractor, he has learned all of the building processes along the way.
His firsthand knowledge can only be learned through "on the job" training, and this training has given him the tools necessary to make your building experience an exciting and pleasurable one.

With the help of Architect Chauncey Meyer this custom home emphasized the old world charm of the existing barn house with an ultra modern addition.
This home incorporated many unique ideas to create a comfortable and environmentally responsible space.
The design of the butterfly style roof allows for all of the rain water to be collected in Six cisterns each with a capacity of over 1,000 gallons.
The exposed duct work also gave big returns because the air is being moved through conditioned air space resulting in less heat gain/loss.
This home incorporated many unique ideas to create a comfortable and environmentally responsible space.

We built one of the first LEED certified residential projects in Tucson; a beautifully remodeled home on the greens of Tucson National Golf Course.
We also completed a Pima County certified Green home (Both shown Here).

They attempted to use grey water recycling in their home but were turned down by Pima County's building department.
