I have worked throughout the construction trades since the age of 16.
I began working for my brother's company, Glenn E. Garis, Inc., in 1974 and stayed with that company until it was dissolved in 1999 due to my brother's illness with cancer.
I learned many skills including concreting, framing, trimming, siding and eventually supervision of small and large housing developments, including Banbury Crossing in Montgomery County which is a large development of singles, twins & townhomes.
From 1999-2000, I worked with my nephew Pat Garis, supervising the construction of custom homes.
