This level is ideally kept under 150 ppm.
When it rises to the 150ppm or higher level it neutralizes the chlorine in the pool.
The only way to correct this problem is to drain the pool water, which should be done every 3 years, on average.
PHOSPHATES are present in the pool water.
Phosphates are food for algae and come from living matter.
If your pool gets a volume of leaves or other living debris deposited in the water the phosphate level will be too high.
This level is ideally kept under 150 ppm.

We called E&E Pools and talked to Amold Elzy.
They came out to the house and looked at what had to be done, they had to cut the concrete and cut a 12x12 out to get to the pipe to fix it.
They came back 2 days later and cut the concrete out and took the old pipe out and put a new pipe in and let it stand for 2 days then they came back 2 days later and got the job done.
They work clean and know what they are doing.
They cleaned up each time after they did something.
