In years past there was a trend to have the kitchen separated from the rest of the house. The most significant downside to separating the kitchen from the rest of the house is that of also separating the family.

And the most significant feature of this remodel, which the client loved, was the fact that now the family could stay connected to others in the house while using the kitchen. New cabinets, countertops and the overall design were both created and built by Merit Construction San Diego. Using all wood constructed cabinets and a new granite counter top, plus the nicely trimmed bar top, first required completed demo of the old kitchen.

In order to manage costs, the floor was left untouched at the time of this San Carlos kitchen remodel by Merit Construction San Diego. Retiling of the floor is something that can be easily taken care of in the future.
