Badgerland came, tore off all of the old asphalt shingles, cleaned all nails, tar and paper off. Put a new pre barrier on and put on the new metro roof, a medal with asphalt shingle look. Badgerland sent a crew of 3 men. They did a very good job. This job was done in 1 1/2 days. This is from start to finish. The downtown office remained the only Farmers State Bank location until August of 1989 when the bank built its first branch at 717 Churchill Street.
This bank was added to handle the growing demand for a bank on the east side of Waupaca.
The bank built its King Branch at N2701 Cty.
