I can remember "tinkering" late into the night in my grandfather's shop.
I would disassemble electric motors, solder old circuit boards and shape projects out of wood.
I taught myself how to fix nearly anything by looking at things from the smallest piece; I even built a small-block Chevy engine a year before I had my driver's license.
I loved fixing things as much as I loved helping people.
