Hello, I'm Mike Patterson, and I'd like to welcome you to Patterson Builders-remodelers LLC. I started in the remodeling business after graduating from the University of Vermont, in 1986. In the 30+ years since, working as a carpenter and for the last 20+ years as a remodeling contractor, the process of turning people's visons into reality has been my passion.
Over the years, I've been actively involved with the Metro DC chapter of National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), serving as an instructor for certification courses, on their board of directors, as its President for two years, and as Chairman of the Board of Directors. I've written several articles for Fine Homebuilding magazine and, for the last several years, have presented courses at national trade events, such as The Remodelers Show, and JLC Live.
You reach a point, after many years, when you realize that, hard as it may be to believe, you're actually an expert at what you do. It has been a blessing to me to have become one in an industry that I truly love, and that excites me nearly every day.
