Jeff Smith and his wife Teresa have been pillars in the community for decades.
They both grew up in Brevard County and raised their children here.
Therefore, it was a natural decision for them to start Smith Construction and Development here as well.
However, the business started long before it officially opened its doors in 2007.
It took shape while Jeff was a lumber salesman.
On the job, he was known for his dedication.
He took the time to study a job's building plans to know each project's individual needs.
They both grew up in Brevard County and raised their children here.
Therefore, it was a natural decision for them to start Smith Construction and Development here as well.
However, the business started long before it officially opened its doors in 2007.
It took shape while Jeff was a lumber salesman.
On the job, he was known for his dedication.

I can't praise him and his sub-contractors enough, for the quality of their work and the courtesy and respect shown to my [handicapped] husband and to myself.
Jeff went "above and beyond" in trying to please us -- including transplanting a sixteen foot crape myrtle tree from one side of the driveway to the other.
It would have been in the way of our new ramp.
I am happy to report that after a month in its new location, the tree is healthy and thriving!
