His father was a custom builder, so by the age of 8 he was pushing brooms to buy a new baseball cap.
As he grew up, he knew that construction was his passion, so he got jobs working for other builders.
As he got to know the business, he found that he didn't like the way other companies used aggressive sales tactics.
He felt that taking advantage of hardworking homeowners was wrong and Mike wanted to start a company where customer needs were at the core of his service.
