South Shore Chem-Dry

We were very happy with Chem-Dry. For their minimum fee they came to our home and expertly cleaned two cloth covered chairs and an ottoman. The experience was very pleasant from the first phone call to schedule to their on time arrival to do the job.

The owner and son were prompt; they assessed the area and moved a couple of things that I myself could not. They were hard-working and thorough completing the 10 year old "oatmeal" wall to wall carpeting in no time. Believe that I was ASTONISHED to see how well the carpet responded to their shared efforts! And to think, not 6 months ago, I was not only agitating for recarpeting the downstairs, I had visited a nearby rug gallery where I had done business before. Without any reservation, I would highly recommend them-- and BTW, they were so REASONABLE in price. truly.

South Shore Chem Dri came and did my wall to wall carpet, numerous area rugs and runners as well as a set of stairs. Dave and Brian did an amazing job. Left all the carpets and rugs feeling like new again. Smells great too! This is the second time I have ised Chem Dri. They are fabulous. The rugs and carpets dried in a short time.

What a wonderful experience! Father and son arrived promptly, were very friendly and professional, and did an amazing job on my couches and rugs! My couches had stains on them and remnants of tape I had put on to deter my cats from scratching they were a mess. They look like new couches! I couldnt believe the difference. I asked if they thought a special treatment for cats/allergies would be best and they said no, they did not think I needed to spend the extra money, that the regular cleaning would do the trick. I was very appreciative that they did not try to rope me into a more expensive treatment than I needed. Very pleased indeed!

Below is the review I left a couple of years ago, but South Shore Chem Dry just keeps getting better and better! Brian and Dave came yesterday and cleaned two couches, two club chairs, a braided kitchen rug and a wall-to-wall in my family room. It's all done impeccably and without any undue disruption. They kept going right through a tornado warning!

Everything was so fresh and clean. Plus, I had some adhesive residue from a carpet label on one of my rugs, and Dave got a special solvent and brush and - VOILA - like new! These are the best people ever. Kelly and Karen do the admin and scheduling. Thank goodness, Kelly called me the day before with a reminder, because I had placed the WRONG date on my calendar. Excellent service. I contacted 2 other services but they would not clean my upholstery because of the fabric. South Shore Chem Dry did not hesitate and provided very helpful information on how they were going to clean it and why. They were professional and friendly, and neat as a pin. The best in the business! Professional, thorough, careful attention to detail and the nicest people to work with. Had our bi-annual cleaning of our couches, club chairs and rugs and all look and smell fabulous. If you have a cleaning emergency (I spilled coffee on my white rug) they will work hard to get someone to you ASAP. They saved my rug! Highly recommend!

David and Justin were so friendly and even got here early! My carpets look brand new but they didnt leave before explaining the dry time and the wear patterns of a carpet! Dave did wonderful job cleaning our microfiber couch and our carpet in our family room. Both look and smell great. This is not an easy job as we have three cats in the house! He is also friendly, patient, answers any questions about the process. I highly recommend him!

We are SO happy with the service we received from South Shore Chem-Dry. Dave is highly knowledgeable and took plenty of time to explain to me all of our options and the process he would be using. We have a white cotton couch that was quite dingy, the arms were filthy, it had a pet stain, a couple of mystery red stains - we even had gum stuck to one of the cushions.

I never thought I would have my beautiful white couch back. But Dave worked miracles and got all of the stains out - even the gum! The price was very reasonable and even came in under what I was originally quoted. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

South Shore Chem-Dry does fantastic work! They are always quick to schedule when I call and get out the worst of stains. Last time they came we had recently painted a room and got paint in a spot on brand new carpet. They got it out no problem. He even left us a bottle of magic spot removal which has been awesome for a house with 2 little kids and a dog. We love them and use them every year!
